We've been fortunate to travel quite a lot with our kids: lived on three continents, traveled to six (still no Antarctica), and I've tried to get my older kids to blog too, which they have. My wife and youngest son return from Israel and Jordan tomorrow, so I'll put that up soon.

Anyway here are our adventures :

We're a one-parent family, one month into a longterm rtw trip. I have a blog at www.travelswithanineyearold.com, and my son has set up his own at 9yearold.wordpress.com.

I'm a big fan of www.nomadicmother.com, although they seem to have finished their journey somewhere in Mexico.

We just put our site together: http://travel-junkies.com

The plan is to use our website to post information about planning our RTW trip in 2012. We will also post our experiences in testing the waters through vacations. We figure if we take our vacations with the thought of "how will we be doing this when we do our RTW trip," it will help us in preparing our trip. We just got back from 2 weeks in Mexico and learned a lot!!!! We will be posting all of that info on our website over the next few days.

Here's ours: http://blogs.bootsnall.com/go-girl/

Unfortunately our password no longer works so we can't do any updates, but some of the articles written by my teenage dd's were really cute. I'll be reading some of yours over the next few nights, and my teenage girls and I will be traveling to Peru in a few weeks. Thanks for the links.

This is our blog. It is in chronological order, so you'll be starting at the end of our trip and working backwards.

Unfortunatley, we are home from our RTW trip now and we all agree that it is time to start saving and planning our next big trip... We miss being on the road. We miss all the time we had together and we miss all the new discoveries... *sigh*

You can use the 'lost password' link on your blog's log-in page to have a temporary password sent to you so you can log in and change it to what you would normally use. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folders in case it was filtered there.

Here's our family's blog:

So far, we've only done North America, but we are slowly expanding to the rest of the world and already have a laundry list of countries to visit.

Wow - dead forum? Too bad because I always enjoyed Bootsnall.

For completeness, I added a page on our thoughts about our trip... 16 years after we got back.
