Favorite Africa Pictures: Show us!

With loads of useful info on climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, overland travel and wild animal safaris, the Africa forum is the place to discuss the dark continent.

This chap is from one of tha habituated groups in Bwindi, in Uganda. Kept his eye on me for half an hour, then settled on this perch for a good look at us. Very distressing to think that the entire economic value of the 600+ m ountain gorillas in the wild is worth about the same as the revenue from four McDonalds on the New Jersey turnpike!

This is pic of me was taken in Antelope Park, Zimbabwe. Its a conservation reserve aimed at re-populating lions into southern Africa. We walked with these lions as they were stalking prey.
