Hi all,

A really easy and quick question. Do I absolutely necessarily need an external flash to take with me to Egypt? I shoot Nikon and the logical choice would be an SB-600. I do have an onboard flash on the D90 that I use, and it could do in a pinch, but not how often others have used their external flashes, if at all.

Ideally, I'd use it for fill flash, when in the shadows between temples, etc. But how often will that happen? When I was in Morocco, I barely used the flash if I remember correctly, and I'm not a big flash person in general. But better to ask now, than be sorry later.

My gear for the trip: Nikon D90, 18-200mm VR, 35mm f1.8, filters and polarizers, about 20GB of memory, Gorillapod, monopod w/ ball head, spare battery, and some other misc. odds and ends... suggestions are welcome!
