I currently use Flickr, but I've been on and off and it's no longer in chronological order (It's my OCD). I hate that the photos show in order of upload, not in order of when they were taken etc.
I've looked through Shutterfly a little bit, but I'm curious if anyone else has used it and what your thoughts are.

Picasa & Fotki that I have used, allow lots of flexibility in arranging the photos. I am a bit partial to picasa; though I like a few aspects of fotki too. Piscasa has powerful infrastructural might of google.

Re: Flickr or Shutterfly?
I love my flickr account for displaying photos, and use Sets and Collections to keep groups of photos organized. The upload tools do tend to throw things in funny orders though. I just really like the layouts and navigation that flickr offers.
I'm also thinking of starting a ZenFolio account, but only for print sales. I find their system a little clunky for displaying large numbers of photos, but their e-commerce and printing affiliation with Mpix seem right for the level at which I want to try to sell a few images. I have to go through a few thousand photos I just shot in Chile and Peru, and see if I have enough to warrant a gallery or two before I decide to go that route.

Re: Flickr or Shutterfly?
I Think flickr is somewhat unique its photostream approach, it does have the archive section that more or less shows taken date and sets collections to keep things tidy.
Shutterfly, like most the other site just seems to take the albums approach and seems more directed at family photo storage/printing images- if the album approach is what you're after i'd probably go for smugmug or just link direcltly to your sets or collections page on flickr.
Despite its many annoyances flickr is the place to host photos on the net...

I know this was a Flickr or Shutterfly, but I agree with nightndawn that I like Picasa. Maybe because I use google for everything else anyways. But it seems pretty straightforward and gives you loads of options and space. Might be worth checking out at least
