Ok, so its finals time, i'm cracked out from caffeine, but nonetheless i think i have a valid gripe...why would one choose flickr as a way to share photos? I'm mean there must have been a site like ning.com that wouldn't have a monthly upload limit...i mean for the BNA party I had to cut some out cause I was over my free monthly limit...arrrghhhhh

Dude, suck up the 25$ for the yearly membership...no monthly limits!
(and...I know you're a student, but you spend less on a night out. This breaks down to just over 2$/month)

Well for me its more than a site to store my pics. I get to see and learn from the others out there who are pretty serious photographers. Its a community like Boots but all they talk about is photography. Check out some of the groups.

Well for me I use Flickr more than to store and share pics and the money is well worth it.

I agree, for me it's worth the money to have no monthly limit. If you really don't want to pay the $25, you could always resize your pictures so they're only really suitable for viewing online - then you don't hit your monthly upload allowance as soon, and you get more pictures online per month.
