Foreigners Entering Tibet

Could anybody please let me know what is the current situtation about Tibet.Are they allowing foreigners to visit.I am planning to go to Tibet in the month of May.

Tibet is closed to all for foreign visitors. Doesn't matter if you are trying to do it on your own or through a group tour. The rest of the site is worth looking at as well.
