Free Travel Workshop: Better Travel Photographs with your Digital Camera

Each picture says a thousand words, and this is your chance to make sure those words are well-spoken. Even with small and compact digital cameras, learn how to bring back postcard-quality photographs that fully reflect the scope of your latest travel adventures.

During this interactive presentation, professional photographer Kate Joyce of the New England School of Photography will share hints and tips on creating better photographs whether you are half-way around the world or in your own backyard. Topics discussed will include light, composition, and basic camera controls. Definitely bring your camera along. Workshop is sponsored by Hostelling International USA, Eastern New England Council. It is free and open to the public.

Where: REI Boston, 401 Park Drive, Boston, MA
When: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Cost: Free
