There are heaps of stray dogs all over Argentina. Most of them ignore you, but my friend and I got chased by a rabid dog in Bariloche, Argentina. We ended up banging on the door of a random hostel and asking them to let us hide out while we waited for the dog to go away. It was very scary. Get your rabies shots before going! I wish I did and if I go again, I'll DEF get rabies shots!
