Anyone have experience or ideas on how to obtain a work visa in U.K.? I had/have a job offer waiting for me, but they're too small to sponsor me. I've resigned myself to graduate school if that's my only option. Advice?
Desperate.

School is the option I went with. You just have to get accepted first, and have the tuition fees and living expenses at your disposal (or have a parent who does), and then getting the student visa is fairly straightforward.
My understanding of work visas is that you have two options: to get a job offer with an employer who will sponsor you on a Skilled Migrant visa, or to get an Entrepreneur visa and start a business. You have to have a lot of money to get an Entrepreneur visa, though (I think the figure I heard was 60,000 quid).
Another thing you might look into is volunteering, which is allowable on a tourist visa. WWOOFing for example is considered volunteer work.
