The old city is so nice in spring you can see a lot of flowers at this time



( Sabratha is located about 67 km west of the Capital of Libya -Tripoli on the mediterranean )

Leptis Magna is the biggest preserved roman city in the world Smile

Did anyone read the article in the NY Times a couple of Sundays ago about Libya and how people were having difficulty getting their visas approved if they were US citizens? Anyone know any more about this?

I didn't read in the NYT but my parents went last year through Spiekermann Travel in St. Clair Shores/Eastpointe Michigan. The agency arranged all their visas and what not. You pretty much have to have this arranged by an agency or they won't let you in. No independent travel is allowed. That's what I have heard anyway.
