HELP! I need a place to stay for one night in Newcastle, UK!!!

My friend is running in the Great North Run this weekend in Newcastle. I'll be going up there with her on Saturday. Every hostel and hotel is fully booked for the weekend. We are desperately looking for a floor to crash on. Does anyone know anybody up in Newcastle that would be willing to let two people (one guy, one girl) crash at their place. We've tried Couchsurfing.com, but everything is taken already. Any help is greatly appreciated!
