I'm flying in Thursday afternoon and leaving on Monday. I'm using the party weekend as an excuse to see if Portland is the next place I want to live, but I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone and doing some group things.

yay! its almost time~ so for the people who will be here friday night we will most likely be hanging out at miss crackerjillians place of work , thats really the plans so far- i hope to get in touch with the cracker and figure anything else out- everyone is invited to come, boot crew included-

ok, I've deleted my previous "here are the Glisan details" post -- because I received the written contract via email today and there are a few twists that weren't conveyed to me over the phone.

Don't worry, we still have the rooms reserved -- we may just have to change how the deal is structured. Details very soon. Thanks for your patience.

Just bumping this back up. We have eleven people confirmed and booked - the hostel is holding about five more beds per night for us until next Thursday November 16th. We get a discounted group rate of $16/night plus tax, and free sheets and linens. So if you still want to join in, let us know here!

Which is where? I am coming into PDX a little later Friday evening (about 7:30pm) so I will probably just drop my bag off at Glisan and then meet you all there about 9. Wherever 'there' is...... Cheers!

We'll talk about whats going on on friday and let you know closer to the date. If we tell you now it will get buried so we'll have to repeat ourselves 50 times and then the plan might change. Needless to say there will be something going on and we'll assist with transportation if needed. No worries!

If there's still space, I'm in for Friday and Saturday nights. I'll be catching a ride from Seattle with my friend Ivone. Haven't done too much travel, but it's in my future plans and this group of people sounds like an excellent source of info.
