So how come most members get to use some cute little handle ("TripperSlipperDripperGipper" or "Flightsy") and I'm stuck, with my real, long, boring name? Did I forget to check the "gimme a cool nickname" box?

New in this forum I hope to find here some help.
I found a comment od Dimitri Fernando in your Sri lanka insider list and tried to contact him but the mentioned email adress doesn´t work.
I know from a german forum about his Sri Lanka article "Haputale - In the Blosoom of the Hills".
Myself I´m creating a homepage for the village Haputale and like to share informations with him.
Is there somebody out there who can give me the correct email adress or contact him and send me reply?

How can we ensure the qualification of the insiders? I mean...can I check up their enrolling information? Or, I can hardly trust them!!

Essentially, you are correct: an insider could be anyone.
We don't actually visit their homes and look at their CD collection before we call them insiders.
However, there has never been a complaint about an insider.
Ask an insider a specific question. Read their response. Judge for yourself.

You are telling me that an insider might not even be an registered user in the first place,right? No wonder I cann't add an insider as my buddies...He is my best friend&workmate.

In addition, we have ways of weeding out those who are only here to advertise their guide service or travel agencies.
