would you change anything.
I wouldn't get married as young as I did.
I would have travelled round the world before I took on a mortgage.
Thankfully in our 60s now we are fit and healthy so no problem travelling but it could have been different and the thing is you never know what the future holds.

If I could have my time again, I would do the following.

1. Unless my partner is willing to be the crazy traveller that I am, I wouldn't want to marry at all.
2. Instead of wasting years in education that doesn't fetch me much and jobs that chain me to a desk, in one location, I would spend my formative years learning skills and investing in things that will help me be location independent professional ( earn from anywhere).
3. The moment I begin to work, I save money for travelling.
4. Work on ways to build recurring streams of income -- before, during and after travel.

I've enjoyed my life so far and wouldn't change anything. My wife and I have been married 46 years, have 2 children I'm very proud of and 6 grandchildren. We take one long trip to Europe and one (at least) cruise each year. We were gone in May and we're starting to plan for next year now.

I would have had my children closer together.

I would have embarked on my RTW in my 20's and not in my 50's as I'm about to do now
with my knees thrashed and my vision not 20-20 anymore!

I would have gotten a divorce when I [i]knew[i] it was over and not when it was [i]convenient[i]
for it to be over.

Guess that's about it...
