IMPORTANT: Scheduled Downtime on BootsnAll Boards TONIGHT

Postby JessieS » June 20th, 2008

Groupee, the folks who host the BootsnAll boards, need to move their existing data center to a new (and hopefully improved) one. Unfortunately for us, that means there's some scheduled downtime on the horizon.

The move should begin today, June 20, around 9:00pm (Pacific Time) and could last up to 24 hours. Groupee says they're hoping to have the move complete in closer to six hours, but it could take longer.

So - get your BootsnAll Community fix in before 9:00pm tonight, and then you'll need to find something else to occupy your time on Saturday until we're back up and running. This might be the perfect time to squeeze in that Lord of the Rings extended version marathon you've been putting off. (Or is that just me?)

See you on the other side, folks.

I'm pretty sure I'll be ok, but what about Whistler? Alone, frightened, confused, did you people ever think about her?

Aw, it's nice to know somebody thought about me. Smile

And as for "them" - hmmmph! Why am I always the last to know? Nobody tells me anything. Frown
