I'm flying into Jakarta late september and plan on moving on to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam overland. The reason is budget, I want to move on the cheapest way possible.
Any advice or comments on how to do this would be appreciated.
Thanks

you'll have to fly into one of those countries. I'm not really sure what the question is. You can get around those three countries really cheap on buses but to go from Jakarta, you'll need to fly.

Valid question, what is it that I'm asking? Well, A super-cheap way to get into Vietnam. That site was actually a big help. Alot cheaper than on the ones I checked.

Have a look at airasia. From Jakarta Im not sure if they fly direct to Vietnam but the flights are so cheap that you could fly to KL then onto Hanoi for about $80.
