ISIC includes health insurance?

Postby Tuva_or_Bust » June 26th, 2006

I've been looking at the details for the International Student Identity Card on http://www.statravel.com/cps/rde/xchg/SID-0A536D8E-3338...live/hs.xsl/isic.htm

and it says at that one of the benefits of buying the card is you get "Basic sickness and accident travel insurance (for trips outside the US)" -- what could that possibly cover? It seems that for such a low price this would be a good deal if it covered anything at all. Does anyone know more specifically what they're talking about when they say something like this?
