Anyone ever use Kensington tours? They seem to have a good rep from their website but some first hand knowledge would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Kensington tours?
I've never heard about them too, but Dozens of companies run trips up Mt Kilimanjaro, all offering similar packages for wildly varying prices. Most european agencies and Americans agencies simply pass on your booking to a local operator and take their cut, so booking with a Tanzanian company saves a lot of money.
Booked locally, the most basic trekking packages – including guides, porters, park fees and food – start from ($1,100-$1200 ) pp not excluding tips, Most local companies are based in Moshi or Arusha.
my friend and i climbed kili and did safari two years ago with a Moshi-based budget operator named mar tours and safaris(www.martoursandsafaris.com), I found them to be well organized and nice to boot! They were recommended to me by some friends who had also had a good trip with them.
Vaccinations: when you going to Africa make sure you have appropriate vaccinations like yellow fever, typhoid, and hepatitis A. Malaria is potent in Africa, Asia and some parts of South America, so make sure you take anti malarial prophylaxis tablets avoid malarial attack.
Health: to avoid diarrhea, eat in a clean Restaurant, drink bottled water, and eat the fruits which you can peel easily, ask the Tour operator/Travel agent about what salad to eat or not to eat.
If you’re traveling with a toddler, remember to give your child a drink before taking off and landing. This helps balance the inner pressure with the outer one, and should keep his/her ears more comfortable. Even sucking on sweets will do.
Hope this will help.
