BootsnAll World Adventures (BWA) is throwing out the net to all of you Kilimanjaro users, past, present and future, to dig out your old outdoor gear and box it up and send it to us and we will send it on to the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project based in Moshi Tanzania.

Mostly though we need a list of bodies interested in carring kit over for us to drop off at the KPAP offices in Moshi.

Much has been written about the plight of Kilimanjaro's porter fraternity, and most of it to highlight the abuses. It is a hard lot and a heavy load, and the lack of simple, basic high altitude survival gear annually claims the lives of many of these men.

Boots, packs, beanies, rain gear, sleeping bags, fleeces, socks...anything you have on hand that you don't use anymore box up and let us have it. For more details check out our Porter Assistance site, or contact me directly for more info.
