Ok, here's my list, some travel related, some not, some all ready partially done.
1)Visit every continent (so far i've only been to NA, Europe and africa, antarctica is going to be tough to get to.)
2)Dip my toes in all of the world's ocean's, swim in those where it is feasable. (so far I've swam in the atlantic, dipped toes in the pacific - cause i wasn't at a good swimming locale, but I will swim in it someday - and i'm headed for the Indian ocean in a couple of months.)
3) Climb one major peak, probably Kili.
4) Bungee Jump - doing it this weekend.
5) Sky-dive.
6) Rafting in grade 5 rapids - also this weekend!
7) Take the trans-siberian railway.
8) Learn French fluently (I have a little from school)
9) Learn to play guitar, then get up and sing a song of my own writing at an open mic night.
10) Have a book of poetry published.
11) Argue before the Supreme Court of Canada and win a precedent human rights case. (I just finished law school)
12) Make love in a hammock on a beach under a palm tree. (Found the perfect hammock a couple weeks ago, but alas no one to share it!)
13) sail around the world.
14)Visit every province and territory of Canada (6 provinces down, four to go, plus the three territories)
15) take a motorcycle trip through South America.

Outside Magazine's January 2006 issue lists there top 20 things to do. Climbing El Cap and paddling the Rio Grande are both on their.
For me, paddle the Futalefu, in Chile, I don't know about the one in Peru. I rafted the one in Chile once, now I want to kayak it.Was there six weeks ago but the water levels were to high, D-A-M-M.
Paddle parts of the White Nile. ( A sigh )
Camp out on a beach in Gabon.
Always be somewhere new and neat for my Birthday.

Lol, that's the only thing on that list I've done. And I don't see what's very outdoorsy-adventurous about it. Although, I was the only one in my group of 6 to make it out having gone to each of the stations. And it was raining, hard.
a short version of my life list is:
Make a souffle
Learn to ski
See the northern lights
Take a gap year (will do in 23 days!)
Learn to speak German, Swedish, French, and Spanish
Volunteer in Africa
Climb Kilimanjaro
Learn how to make Swedish pancakes by heart

I'm half way through the research. The plan is to have a week off in January (my other plans got sideswiped) to do it somewhere between Brisbane and Whitsundays.

86. Tree Climbing in Atlanta, Georgia
Is there a tree climbing sanctuary in Atlanta that I'm unaware of? That's the last place I'd associate with being outdoorsy, unless seeds have learned to sprout in concrete.
So far on my list:
1. Camp one night in the Outback.
2. Go back through the British museum at a leisurely pace.
3. Hike in Greece.
4. Hike various trails, etc in New Zealand.
(work in progress)
