Just wondering if anyone wants to join me in organising the London Christmas Meetup this year?

Last year's "Do" was amazingly good fun...I really enjoyed myself and we all had a great time...

MicheyB did the organisation of last year...but I'm happy to do it this year...although I don't know London's Drinking Establishments that well so someone will need to help me out with that.

We should really have the date at the same time as the PDX Party...so is December 1st okay with everyone?

If we stick with what we did last year and all book into St Christopher's in Camden...seemed like a cool place to stay in...

Also, if we do the whole Secret Santa thing again as well, since that was great fun!! So don't spend anymore than £5 on a present and then we'll all get a present at the end of the night...

So who's up for it this year?

now if i could only figure out how to be in two places at once!!

Anyone in the UK around that time should definitely join in the fun - i have gone for the last two years and had an awesome time and met some wonderful booties and got a little tipsy on both occasions!!

After my year of self indulgent travel I'll be there of course this year, adding some much needed maleness to this thread! Oh and I'll be giving Helen a wee hand with a few bits of the organisation and so on.

Now we've got quite a few newish members cropped up UK side of things, so if you're interested but not sure what the hell its all about whack your name down here for teh time being, stick the date in a personal organiser of your choosing and get ready for an awesome night out!

So yes, if you're fairly new and don't know what this is all about or a bit nervous...don't worry, it's a very chilled out evening with some drinking (if you don't drink don't worry, I don't really either, just the odd one or two) and it's a really great laugh. We tend to get people coming from all over Europe...as I recall last year we had someone from Scotland, Switzerland and (I think) the Netherlands...so let's hope we get just as good a turn out this year!!

Joe (aka LancashireHotpot) is back from his adventures but I believe he has gone into hiding. He's now a wanted man in 10 counries and 22 States.
