What are your parameters, you consider before making advance booking of a hotel when you go on family tour? My priorities are safe and hygiene.

Location, and recommendations. trip advisor etc

Location, recommendations, and whether it has the right facilities (ie a room big enough for two adults and three children). Price also plays a part as well as proximity to public transport.

Now that I have a teenager, all places must have internet access, preferably free. Also somewhere to swim is very helpful in having a pleasant trip. If I can get a place with multiple rooms at a reasonable rate, I'll go for it. He really needs more space now that's he's older.

I miss the days of the little fellow who would cuddle next to me and stick his cold feet on my legs...
