I think you are talking about the Nullabour Plain. The road through there goes from the South Australia border across most of the way to Perth.

I have heard of some other long stretches too, names do not come to mind though. They are probably in Queensland or the Northern Territory.

Yes, the Nullarbor Plain has 478 km. of straight road according to that website and highway name is Eyre. There is probably some very straight sections in adjoining South Australia as well.
Stuart Highway going from South Australia into Northern Territory through Alice Springs also would have some long straight sections but Nullarbor is the well known one for being very straight and boring.

Travelmate is a handy site re distances and maps.

The longest stretch of straight railway track in the world crosses from the Nullabor Plain from Nurina in W.A. to near Watson in S.A. The track runs dead straight for 478 kilometres.

The Eyre Highway at Caiguna in W.A. has the longest stretch of straight road in Australia-148 kilometres.
Crossing the Southern edge of the Nullabor Plain, it is the only sealed road from Perth to Adelaide and is a 2,700 kilometre drive.

Have a nice day ,Whistler.
