New Design For Site

Postby cmw1 » August 22nd, 2008

Now I'm not sure this is the right place to post this since I'm not hosted by boots, still I do frequent the site and this seems the most applicable thread.

I have a new design for my site which has just gone live.

There are extensions planned between now and when I go on my RTW in 2 years time but basically this is it.

So what do you think of the new design? (and yes I know most of you have probably never seen any of the old incarnations of the site).

Still what do you think?

Ta Brooke. Gives me something to work on in between travel at least.

I've just been reading some of your posts. I would much rather be out and about in the world. Oh well at least the RTW is less than 2 years away now (just)...

and Egypt next year should be fun.

Thanks for the feedback Mama-to-many.

You know I must have developed a problem with my reading skills as I interpreted this:
quote:
a kiwi family with eight kids

On your site to mean you have 8 kids and you are going travelling with them.....

Its not the travel part I'm having this reaction to: Eek

Its not even the travelling with kids part, although my hat goes off to you. Looks like seriously hard work for the parents who I've seen travelling with kids.

Its the '8' part. I mean, seriously, you have 8 kids? Darth Mavis

I hope you do not take this the wrong way I'm just gob smacked! er, and about to go off and read more of your site!

No offense taken. I've got used to people counting - sometimes they do it out loud!! One day I'm going to say, "Oh no, only eight. Which one have we lost?" (Yeah, I'm a bit cheeky!)

Now never mind taking your hat off to us! You can just give us your website template to copy - heehee. The journal-look fits nicely with "Pilgrims' Progress" don't you think? Wink

My turn to be off to read more of yours and then link you to our blog.

Really, struggling? LOL. Nice use of poetic licence. In case you hadn't guessed I read the post on your site. Thanks for the plug and not holding the fact that I'm Australian against me!!

I intend to reply. I've just got to find a suitable one!
