north america's most bike-friendly cities

Boulder, okay, but really the entire Denver metro area is pretty great for biking. I just rode to work today, 18 miles from Littleton to downtown Denver. Lots of bike commuters on the trail!

Portland, Oregon is very bike friendly. Our public transportation even has bike racks. Bike trails all over the place, as well it is just a 'bike town'. People commute for work and play here.

I think the perfect biking city would combine Portland's biking infrastructure with San Diego's weather. Personally, I'll never understand the appeal of biking in Portland when it's cold and rainy much of the year.

Virginia Beach is not bad for bikers, plus nice weather.

Columbus, OH isn't bad depending on where you are. Our mayor and city council are trying to vastly improve this. Stick to downtown and you can see a lot on bike.
