Northern Mexico to Northern Peru

Postby rtaylorb » June 24th, 2008

I am planning a trip starting in Tijuana and ending in Northern Peru. I have 6 months to travel before i start school up again. Does anyone think that 6 months is too short of a time to make it there and relax for a bit?

I am hoping someone would reply to this post... but I know one most interesting site that you might need to look at... www.motoadventures.org. The owner Casa Kiwi Hostel of Medellin, Colombia had drove motorcycle from Haines, Alaska to Ushuin (sp?), Argentina, South America, for 3 years 5 month and 38,000 miles of travel on motorcycle. Maybe you can learn more information from that site.

Thank you very much. I have a mortorcycle and its been in the back of my mind to ride that south, I am going to definitely check it out. I am presently fighting some wild fires in Virginia and i can't wait to get on the road.
