Greetings,
I'd like to get advice and opinions about traveling overland from Texas, USA to Argentina. Maybe leaving this Spring with all summer to travel. I might stay in Argentina for a while: a few months. I don't have a particular route in mind yet, but once in South America maybe Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina.
I'm not planning on driving: this would be public transportation, mostly. I speak some Spanish: more than basic, but less than fluent. I might be traveling alone, or maybe with my brother.
So far, from reading the threads in this forum, problems seem to be:
- Crossing the Darien Gap
- Possible $100 visa charge for Bolivia
I'm sure there are others...
So what can you tell (or ask) me?
Thanks
