On 3rd July 2009 a small band of friends are setting off on a 21,000 mile drive overland to Australia. Want to join us?

We will be travelling through Europe to Turkey, across Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, East Timor and finally Australia.
We are raising money for the charity No More Landmines and will be visiting their projects in Vietnam and Cambodia en-route. Sight-seeing highlights will include Mt Everest, Lhasa, Ha Long Bay, Ayers rock etc

We are taking an eclectic mix of vehicles, 2 Baja Beetles, a VW camper, a Mini and a Landrover defender camper. I found an eccentric vehicle helps break the ice with locals and reduces the number of bribes asked for!

My best mate can no longer make it so I'm in need of a co-driver. I would prefer to travel with another woman but oe of the lads is looking for a co-driver too. Also if anyone is interested in joining us in their own vehicle you would also be welcome.
