Hello!

My partner and I are first-timers to Bali.
We leave on Saturday, July 4. It is our birthday...yes, OUR - we share the same birthday(!)...next week. However, I would really like to plan something nice for him, and I don't have a lot of time, nor a clue!
I was wondering if any of the Bali veterans out here have any suggestions or ideas...?
He loves the water and watersports, but since he works now in the Maldives, he gets his fill. We both love exploring, art and cultural events and are great food and wine enthusiasts (he's a chef, so that explains it for him!).

In terms of where we will be, we are a Jimbaran the firstnight...thereon, we want to play it by the ear. So your suggestions for the birthday are welcome whatever the location.

Something fun? Something romantic? Something unusual? Anything you can think of would be much appreciated! Even if it's just a nice restaurant that's a little unusual and/or could do something special. Only, I would like to keep it a surprise.
