The road will be closed to traffic in 18th March so that pedestrians can walk over the 75 year old bridge.
Those wanting to participate should pre register (free).

It's so that half a million people dont all show up expecting to walk across at 10 am.
When you register you are allotted a 30 minute starting time troughout the day. In theory you and your family/frienda all come to the Nth Sydney train station on a train that gets you there in time for your walk.
How the authorities to regulate walkers and ban non registered people making the journey I dont know.
