Bali Crocodile Farm
Hi there. In Sept 2006 we visited a croc park. Outside were large statues where the children posed for photos. There were not many tourists, approx 12. We arrived in time to watch a croc show which was truely awesome-one of the Balinese put his head in one of the crocs mouths!! However as we were taken there we have no idea of the address and are back in Bali this June for 3 weeks and want to go back. Sounds awlful but one could buy a live duck and toss it in to any chose pen. I would be grateful if anyone can let me know. Cheers.

Was it out near the Coke Factory, Tabanan way? We went there and were horrified at the state of the animals. The crocodiles were actually dying, one was laying there dead covered in flys and magets, others couldnt even move they were so sick. I actually emailed Steve Erwin in December 05, but never got a reply. If you went in 06?? The park was very run down, don't know if they have fixed it or not. I would never go there again, the pens that the animals were in weren't even secure.

Crocs were healthy. This place was truly awesome. Over crowded perhaps-yes. Not sure of Coke factory, don't recall it. We did not witness anything appalling, we had young kids with us and left there totally in awe of the park. Perancak? Does this sound familiar? No idea of location to date. Thanks for the feed back.

The Bird and Reptile parks are just north of Denpasar . I have visited the butterfly park in Tababan which was fun. One time I did try to visit the Reptile Park, but the price of admission scared me off, something like 100,000rp.

niluh.
do u recall the address/where abouts of the one u visited out in woop woop. It is really bugging me as to where this place was. In June when we are next there I had hoped to go back and want to even more now. The live show was pretty cool i must say but we missed alot of it. Did the place u visited have the statues out front, big things they were of crocs, gravel empty car park???

I wouldn't have a clue, my husband drove. All I remember was going past the Coca Cola Factory, I'm sure it was Tabanan way. I can't believe we are talking about the same place. We were the only ones there, no staff, no shows nothing and that was in December 2005. I'm sure a taxi driver or tour guide at your hotel would know where it is. Maybe you should look at the one attached to the bird park, I'm sure thats nicer
