spacing of my blog

Postby Eppyboy » August 11th, 2009

hydro and others,

i can't space my blog...every time i write a post and put spaces into between the paragraphs when it is published it is all mushed together...sometimes I get lucky and it works but for the most part over the past 3 years the font size is either messed up, it gets mushed together...

I just tried to edit 3 posts from my last trip and it doesn't work, what can i do? people are complaining that it is hard to read and I don't blame them!

This thread doesn't have any tags.

You can still check out the tag index though.

What are tags?

Are you writing your posts directly into your blog, or are you copying & pasting from another document, like a Word doc? If the latter, sometimes the formatting from the doc can be brought over and it messes with the blog's default formatting.

I've turned off the visual editor on your author profile. This should take care of the issue, but let me know if you continue to have problems.

most times i cut and paste from works or word...I find it easier when I don't have internet immediately available and to save time at internet cafes so I copy and paste when I come across wifi...

what should I do to prevent this from happening when I copy and paste it over?

thanks hydro

Turning off the visual editor (which I have done) should sort out the issue. Obviously, if you paste in from a word doc and don't see clear line breaks between your paragraphs then you'll have to add them manually, but I doubt this will be the case.
