discounts for Quito, Ecuador

Figure out the best way to get from Central to South America, when you should book your accommodations for Carnaval and local language school recommendations. If it's on South America, it's in this forum.

discounts for Quito, Ecuador

There is a new discount card for Quito that offers deals at a gym, bike rentals, internet, laundry, food and more. It's called the Backpacker Pass and it's free. If you are in Quito, you can get one at Finn McCool's on Pinto and Reina Victoria.

Here is a review of the backpacker pass on another site. Bear in mind the reviewer appears to be Finn McCool, one of the places where you can pick up, & use, the pass.

i read the link you posted to the other site as an advertisement, not a review. but free is free i suppose! some of the establishments mentioned in the advertisement are pricier than the local dining places just down the street. but they serve good food and the service is generally pretty good. those establishments mentioned are located in the newer section of town near all the bars and as such it is unlikely you will be able to avoid tourists.
