I got sent to NYC for a couple days along with free courtside tickets to see the Knicks at Madison Square Garden (and they actually won)! I called my husband from the game and he spotted me on tv. Apparently I was sitting not far from some actor dude from one of the CSI shows.
Not the coolest place ever, but pretty cool for where I work.
What is the coolest place you ever traveled for work?

I've been with a software company as a trainer and curriculum designer for 10 years now. Scary, but true.
During the time as a trainer, I traveled alot in the US. Most was dull.
Though seriously, I like Houston because the food is fantastic. Barbeque meets Mexican meets Cajun. And the shrimp!
In any case, the most exotic local was Singapore. That was great fun. Check out the night zoo if you ever get there.
Now I hardly travel, but I'm in the international side of training design, so when I go, I tend to go to our headquarters in Walldorf, Germany. In June, I managed to include a visit to Prague as well. That was great!

Chicago.. it was so cool. Got to go in the late summer, perfectly in time with the Wicker Park festival and Lollapalooza. I was in a business suit by day, staying at the Westin.. and on the weekend I was at the hostel downtown, chillin with the hippies! Loved it.
