We are in prague now and have a global eurorail pass, but it does not go to Poland. So...we are trying to figure out the most inexpensive way too get to krakow or how expensive the train ticket price would be to get there. thank you

Take a train. It'll be the most comfortable way, and that eurailpass won't go there because Poland is 'eastern Europe' and thats another pass. Don't bother with it, just take the train or a bus. I recommend the train, since train rates in Prague are lower than most of Western Europe.

Here is the info

There appears to be no direct bus line from Prague to Krakow, though there is one to Warsaw, where you probably catch a connection.

The map tells me that there is no main town that the bus stops at for a good connection that doesn't get you going backwards.

So, it will have to be a train, and the price looks pretty good
