Postby kcrabie » July 5th, 2008

i am living in glasgow/scotland just now but i HATE it, wet/cold summers and horribal dull/wet winters are too much(i dont mind real cold proper winter) i really want to move away from the UK for about a year or 2

i just want a proper job/career abroad were i can work my way up.

What i can do:
*i have about 4 years of retail experiance ( 1 and 1/2 as my on boss, i own/run a small BMX bike/juggling shop)
*worked for years on family farm

Things that hold me back:
*i quite deslecic so cant teach english! grrr
*i dont have a degree, (i did HND in textiles)
*i am mildly epeleptic (which has made gettig jobs impossibal in the past)
*used up my year visa in NZ
*dont know which county be good?

i want to have a job set up before i set off... and this is were i am stuck, i keep finding agentys that make you pay stuipd fees and then they get u a job this seems mad!

has anyone got any advice on good countrys, with a good career path?

thanks kris

Well, based on the information you've provided I think you're going to have a tough time. Do you have any money saved up? Your best option is probably to head out and do some traveling in some place like Southeast Asia or South America and see if you can't find a job working at a hostel or a scuba shop or something and use your retail skills. Maybe things will get better from there. You definitely won't be making much money, but you might get enough to live off of.
