I have recently traveled in the Middle East to the cities of Ephesus, Termessos, and others. I have been to Rome in the past, and I find these cities just brilliant. I love the sense of grandeur of the history of them.
Ephesus is in remarkably good shape - it is not difficult to see the splendour that was once there, and the location of Termessos, especially the amphitheater, is stunning.

Hi,
Seems interesting, you should see the DECAPOLIS, JERASH, AMMAN, PELLA, ABELA, UMQAIS, BEITRAS in Jordan, BIETSHAN in Israel, DAMASCUS in Syria, BA'ALBEK and TRIPOLI in Lebanon,
The best and still well preserved is Jerash, amd sure you will enjoy it,
All of my best wishes,
