We are still traveling! I also love this thread because I am a sucker for reading other people's blogs and this has a lot that I can bookmark! :D

Click on the link and then our travel blog is under the link Our Travels. I'm pretty sure our homepage says we are still in Japan but we are actually in China. The two of us are on month 8 of an almost year long trip after quitting our jobs. We have hit up South America, NZ, Australia, SE Asia, India, Japan and now China with South Africa, Israel, Spain, Hungary, and England left to go! Thanks!

After my first big moto trip, I can't go back to backpacking  . Or when I do, I feel really hampered and stressed because I'm feel like I'm constantly fighting over something that is really easy on moto -- leaving the current place and going to the next.

We met a guy in Ecuador who said the same thing- he'll never travel without a bike again. We've also met some people on push bikes who have loved it... in fact, now that I think about it, everyone we've met on a bike has not regretted the decision. Although we do have a friend who got into a huge moto accident on a cross country trip, he says he's waiting to heal so he can start again so there must be something good to it!

I'll be leaving in a couple of weeks for extended travel through Central and South America. My website is:

My previous travel blog tended to be introspective and observational, focusing on cultural differences and quirky experiences with a fair amount of humor sprinkled in.

My bf and I are almost a year into our travels from South America to SE Asia - it's been an amazing time. We opted for a fairly simple picture-a-day photoblog:
