Still on the fence :
From Chicago -
Portland = ~$300
London = ~$540
Time in Portland : ~5pm Friday - ~11pm Sunday
Time in London : ~7am Saturday - ~11am Sunday
The additional time in Portland means more beer expenditure.
So I think in the end it's entirely flat.
This is a decision that must be made soon.
Before the flights go up ...
Before the accomodations go away.
Where are people staying in Portland?
HI Hawthorne, HI NW?
BnA HQ Lawn??

yes i would recommend the glisan hostel, its in a great neighborhood and within walking distance of good bars, and public transportation to downtown. that is where the majority of booties stayed last year.

Perfect timing! I will finishing my RTW trip approx two weeks before the party, and my broke a$$ can use the free wine.
Trekker, I'll be landing in Eugene for Turkey Day, and if I'm not already in Portland by the time the party hits you're welcome to ride with me. No guarantees of a ride home though, I might be relocating to Portland.
