I am just joining in on this thread - I would love to come on Saturday night but have dinner plans in Brooklyn at 7pm. I should be back in the city between 10-11 p.m. - is there someone I can get in touch with to see if you are all still at Peculiar?

I live in NYV and am leaving for SE Asia for 4 months on the 27th! Look forward to meeting some fellow travelers!

How in gods green earth did I not notice this posting until today, three days before the shenaniganza?! Sonofacrap! Have I been that consumed? Well I guess I'm not gonna make it folks since I'll be camping in Big Sur this weekend which is kinda like NYC but without the hookers and cops. Have fun without me gang and hopefully I'll see you at the Xmas throwdown again this year!

Sorry guys, Marty and I had fully intended on coming, but the birthday party we went to at the Bohemian Beer Garden in Astoria kept going on. Lots of Czech beer, wine, food and some rather interesting interpretations of tradition Czech dances by Marty kept us all enthralled and made it impossible to leave. We did PM the group hoping you might make it out to Queens...

i guess i'm usually in the midst of the insanity and that's why the photos i took are boring. if i'm not in them, they can't be too crazy, huh?!?!
