Hey!!! I'm wearing a pair of sandals just like those right now.
Only mine have orange detailing and no yellow triangle with the black exclamation point in it.
I love these sandals!!!

In fact, here's my late-ish submission:
Three couples, six pairs of Salomons, 1999 Tour de France - on the Col du Galibier the morning Lance won his first mountain stage at Sestrieres.

Regrettably my hooves are currently at the menders. Instead, I'm currently wearing these:
Note the delicate alabaster (cough) skintone, despite our current, epoch-making heatwave. La la.

These old boots have seen me through a lot. When I bought them in the mid 1990s, I was crippled with osteoarthritis in my left hip. So I used them to limp my way through Scotland, France, the Netherlands, and Iceland -- not to mention long local hikes in the Santa Monica Mountains, Arizona, and New Mexico.
Note that I still keep my flexible rubber laces in the boots to remind me of when I could not bend over to tie my shoes without excruciating pain. Several years ago, I had a hip replacement and have been walking without a limp and -- most important -- without pain. Still, I have not replaced the rubber laces just as a reminder.
The soles seem to be separating from the uppers, but I am thinking of having the boots re-soled and re-heeled just because they've been so good to me.

P.S. Callilucy is the best moderator ever. She also has fantastic fashion sense. I only wish I could be like her. *sigh*

I've had these things for a few years now, found them on top of the roof of the Oasis Hostel in Granada, left in place of the pair of 3 dollar Walmart flops I'd been wearing.
I've never owned a pair of boots, and haven't worn closed shoes since I was in high school and we had to wear them.

Photo of my Solomon boots after returning from my RTW. The soles are pretty much completely worn through!

Better late than never...
These boots belong to a BnA gang after the last day of our Kilimanjaro climb back in July. The final days hike, from Camp Mweka to Mweka Gate, was a regular mud bog. Quite fun!
