Have been in Phnom Penh for 2 weeks getting my CV out to schools that are running summer programs + to a couple tutoring services & applying to all advertised jobs. The waiting gets on the nerves though. :)

In Thailand it would be impossible at my age, 57 might be easier but not much, so far in Cambodia I have only had 2 interviews, most places it's just drop off CV advertised jobs there is a closing date for applications which hasn't been reached yet.

The interviews I have had, 1 was a tutoring service that was OK with my age, the other a kindergarten school, of course preferred females but would use me if they weren't available.

Also it's near the end of term at some schools & mid-term at others so it's taking longer than it would nearer the start.

OK so 2 1/2 months is enough of :headbang: trying to find a job in Cambodia, emailed an outfit in China that claimed to b able to find work for anyone, they never even had the decency to respond. Kind of a waste of $1200 for the TEFL course though. :(

Seems that at 65 society relegates one to the scrap heap, so it's back to El Salvador to concentrate on my B&B.

Will be stopping in Hawaii, the last of the 50 states to visit, on the way so the trip won't be a complete loss. 8-)
