TEFL/TESOL certified thru ITTO. Feedback Anyone?
El Viajero
Anybody have any experience, rants, raves or reviews about ITTO (International Teacher Training Organization) for a TEFL/TESOL certification? A credible organization?

Seems expensive. And it isn't clear what certification you would really get. If you're going to spend that much money, just do either a CELTA or a TESOL from an organization affiliated with http://www.tesol.org
I also tend to warn people away from organizations that try to package your training with a job offer. You don't tend to win in those situations. And if you're a reasonable person with a college degree and a pulse, you DON'T need a TEFL pimp to get you a job.
Now, go teech Inglesh good.

$1,550?? If you're willing to pay that much, then get either a CELTA or a tinityTESOL. I would definitely side on the CELTA course. While it isn't by definition the "best" it is without question the most recognized and will darn near guarantee you a job in any country for reputable school including the big ones like International House or British Council (although you'll need 2 years post CELTA for BC).
