That would be Khao San Road. We arrive on 5th and will likely be around still if you want to meet for a drink and reailty check-in. Keep an eye on this blog and post if you want to meet.

Well peeps just checked my backpack in. Guess its real now ! I have packed so little but my pack ways a ton.. 3 hours to take off, which means landing in Bkk in 13 hours time. Time for starbucks me feels.

I'm on the move too (coming down from Laos) and will be hitting BKK friday sometime..
I was heading for Big J's too but not sure they still have room for me.. would make the meet up easier though, huh?!! otherwise I'll make for Suk11 so thats not too far away. You mission, should you choose to accept it is to check out good (read cheap) bars in the vicinity and report back with your findings. (a terrible gruelling chore i know, but thats the price you have to pay...)

Hi all, here at last been in Bangkok for about 2 hours, its a mad place.
Lucky Luke Big J's seems ok loads of people here who like it, security abit iffy me feels and away from KS Road, althouh only 100 Bt by taxi, so nothing.

Heading up To KS Rd now to meet up with some people off my flight, then back tp Big Js cause had an invite to go out with a gang to a Thai Fight at the stadium,

I am here. It was a pretty crazy flight. I had a connection in taiwan and they had to rush all of the flights out as a hurricane was about to hit the island. We barely made it out. As such, I couldnt make it to suk11 and am headed over there now. Once I get my bearings straight I'll send you over a message bret. monkey gets in tom or day after?
