The Magic Roundabout is a hostel located in Las Palmas, Ecuador.. It takes about three hours to get there from Quito and is on the route from Quito to Tena. It is owned by an English couple who built it from scratch and have returned to England. Currently it is being run by two really fun people who go out of there way to make sure one is well looked after.
It is in the cloud forest and is an out of the way retreat for those looking for a place to relax, hike, raft, or just find some peace and quiet. The weather is sporatic and it often can be overcast, sunny, and rainy in the same day.. They grow t a lot of their own food and focus on responsible tourism.. Here is a link to a woof related video the owners made about The Roundabout!

In the middle of September The Roundabout is having a mini-burning man festival. It will take place over two days and we are looking for people who can play music, create a fun environment, and most of all want to contribute to having a great time in the cloud forest.
The roundabout will provide a dinner and a breakfast and has room for the first twenty-five people who show up. There is also room for camping on the twenty-five hectre property.
We are still trying to figure out the exact date and will have more details as they become fixed. If you are interested in participating please contact me through my email Yesterdayschild@gmail.com and I will be in touch presently! Or if you are interested in staying there I can give you details about how to get in touch with Jose and Jess!
