Dam Trau Beach

Considered the most beautiful beach in Con Dao, Dam Trau beach is about 12 km to the northwest of Co Ong airport. From the center of Con Dao, it takes 30 minutes to get to Dam Trau beach by car or motorbike. It is known for long beautiful white sands, primeval forest with green trees and the cliff with unique shape. Visit Dam Trau beach, visitors can enjoy swimming, sightseeing or snorkelling.

Suoi Nong Beach

Suoi Nong (Hot Spring) Beach is a beautiful beach in the island. From Dam Trau beach, visitors can pass a short distance in the forest to reach the Hot Spring Beach. It is still wild and little known with white sand and a mangrove ecosystem which is rarely seen in other islands.

Con Dao National Park

Con Dao National Park covers nearly 6,000ha of land and 14,000 hectares of water area. The relationship of coral reefs, sea grass beds and mangroves has created a favourable environment for breeding, nursery and conservation of marine species.

Currently, Con Dao is the region with many sea turtles in Vietnam, for example hawksbill sea turtles. There are 17 sandy beaches recognized as breeding grounds of the turtles, among them up to 4 beaches are recognized as the place for about 1,000 mother turtle to come annually.

Here, you will experience many exciting activities with a variety of types such as fishing, diving, cycling, walking or sightseeing.

Bay Canh Island

Bay Canh Island is located in the east of Con Dao with an area of 683ha, including two islands interconnected by sand bank in the middle called the Big Sand. This is also one of 14 sea turtle breeding grounds of Con Dao and the beach where the number of turtles to lay their eggs mostly in Con Dao. During the breeding season (from April to October annually), at least 1-2 individuals to 20-30 mother turtles go to the beach for nesting and giving birth to baby turtles.

Hang Duong cemetery

Hang Duong Cemetery is the largest cemetery in Con Dao. This is the burial place of thousands of revolutionaries and patriots Vietnam through generations, which lasted from 1862 to 1975. It has more than 2,000 tombs, including the tomb of the famous patriot like Vo Thi Sau, Nguyen An Ninh, Le Hong Phong ... And a special experience you have to try when coming here is to visit the grave at 12 pm. It might surprise you because many people think that the grave will be very quiet, however, it is full of tourists in fact. The stalls in the cemetery are still open to serve buyers with incense and offerings.
