1. Iceland
2. Africa (Ethiopia, Madagascar, Namibia, safari in Ngoragora)
3. Touring the Saudi border countries from Yemen to Kuwait to
Lebanon)

Over the last decade, I've gotten a feeling at the end of one trip where I've wanted to travel the following year. So, my list might change after this summer.

You're thinking of Tunisia there.

My list:

Britain: my home country, but there's a lot I haven't seen. In particular the north east stretch from Edinburgh to Northumberland (Hadrians Wall), Newcastle and Durham.

Europe: Avignon, French castles, French Alps, Florence, Sienna, Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, Lisbon.

Turkey: Aegean coast. plus ferry to island of Rhodes.

Tran-siberian journey including Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia, China, then down to SE Asia including Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand. Maybe also Nepal and Tibet.

Yeah, you're right. Have to add Tunisia to my list then. But I still want to visit Morocco, for the food!

And geez, now I see lots of other places on people's lists that belong on mine, like Cuba and Iceland and various parts of Asia.

oh, i am one of those too who must do the transiberian railway. hiking the pyreneese of france and spain is close to the top, and also hiking around hokkaido, japan through the nat'l parks up there. mongolia would be great as well.
