Oh, the "I just forked out a lot of non-changeable, non-refundable cash, I really hope I didn't f*ck up the dates" nausea / excitement is nearly too much!!

LGW - HAV - CUN - MIA, MCO - LGW

1 month, 3 countries, 4 flights, 30 years (celebrating the reaching thereof), 1 very excited girl!

Just bought my ticket from Istanbul to Amman: September 21st. Two weeks to go, and then I leave Turkey (my home for the last three months) and hang out in Jordan for ten days or so, then make my way to Palestine, where I'll be living at least until December.

Yessss.

So...Scotland for Hogmanay didn't happen, due to the almighty cock-up at the NY airports last week. But I just booked a ticket to London on the 18th of this month! I WILL GET TO THE UK THIS WINTER IF I HAVE TO SWIM!!!

I was going to Turkey but my wife thought it was too different so we booked for Barcelona. Train from there to France, Italy, Austria and Germany. Flying from Munich back to Barcelona for return because it's so much cheaper.
The feature I most value in a pack is a Sherpa.

It's off to Argentina this November to finish the trip I couldn't finish in 2006 because I broke my shoulder in a blizzard in Tierra Del Fuego! This time, I plan to do it right and proper.
