Alright guys,
Just wondering if anyone knew someone or personally had extra football tickets to the premiership during the dates of December 26th until December 31, 2008. I would only need one and hey I'm an avid sports fan and will instantly become a fan of your team! I'm not willing to break the bank on tickets but figure in my third visit to london I should go and finally see a match!
Thanks

I can check with a few friends of mine, on getting a ticket. Judging on your time frame and assuming you want premiereship matches in London. (Let me know if you're willing to go outside the city) Here's your options:
(home team listed first)
Dec 26th Tottenham vs Fulam
Dec 26th Chelsea vs West Brom both at 1pm
Dec 28th Aresenal vs Portsmouth
Fulam vs Chelsea
West Ham vs Stoke City all at 2pm
So you do have the option of watching any one of the five London Premiership teams.
Another option would be attending a lower division team such as Queens Park Rangers or Leyton Orient or even Milwall (though I don't recomend the last)
The quality of play and the big name players might be lower though even some of the top League One teams offer a better quality game than most MLS teams. But the atmosphere is more genuine and less sterlized than in the premiership. Also the tickets are cheaper and easier to come by.
Full disclosure I myself am a West Ham supporter.

Hey Hillbilly, nice to hear from you.
If you could check that would be great! I really want to see premiership, while I recognize that First Division and Championship leagues are better than MLS I want to see the big boys play on the biggest stage.
Thanks

Sorry it took so long to reply, it turns out my friend has a friend whose a member of "the acedemy" at Upton Park unfortantly his two tickes are not availble that weekend.
As much as it pains me to say it michey_b might be your best bet unless you're willing to pay over a hundred pounds for a ticket.
Your just lucky Obama (a Hammer himself) doesn't take office until January, cause I hear his first order of business is to bomb White Hart Lane!
Good luck and have fun but beware the spud.

yeah it is very easy in fact, not much of a walk from Seven Sisters tube station and you certainly wouldnt be able to miss the mass of white shirts going the same way! Ill let you know for sure next week.
Ok ive just been on and had a look at the website im thinking you may be able to purchase yourself cos they are on general sale for £32.00 there are a few left and all you have to do is register first i think. That may be easier and you can just arrange for your ticket to be sent somewhere or pick it up at stadium.

EDIT oops website is here
