24 out of 100 here.

The Wadi Rum dessert in Jordan should DEFINITELY be among the top 100 beauties in the world. Also, I have noticed too many Egyptian stuff there. I didnt find them that impressive to be honest.

Cheers.

I agree with the person who says that travel is not about ticking things off check lists. So what if you have been to 999 out of 1000 listed by this so called intrepid traveller. I have found that my top wonders of the world have been the people of Europe, Asia and Africa who have taught me something of their language, culture and method of enjoying themselves in their own country. I am not impressed by travellers who simply flit from place to place ticking off the Taj Mahal etc from their list of things to see.
Is this an American fad OR am I alone in my priority when traveling which is to make friends with members of the local community and exchange thoughts and ideas.

Hey the list is subjective. I agree that the Vegas strip doesn't do it for me on this list, but I can see how others would dig it. Still a hell of a website for seeing what there is out there that you haven't seen.

Okay. only 13 for me. I better hustle up. 13 is unlucky.

I've "done 25" of them. I'm a quarter of the way there!
